Our kickboxing system provides an incredible cardiovascular workout, as classes are virtually non-stop, which results in a high level of aerobic fitness. There is also a great improvement in anaerobic capacity due to the large amounts of interval training that are incorporated into the sessions.
The kicking aspect is great for strengthening and toning the hips and bottom, while boxing helps to strengthen and sculpt the arms, back and chest. Then combine the core strengthening programmes we use and you should be in great physical shape . Also your flexibility and agility will develop along with balance, co-ordination and reflexes.
The mental benefits are important too. The fast-paced lessons help to relieve stress, leaving you energised and fulfilled. Acquiring knowledge of martial arts also builds confidence and self-awareness.
Goal orientated training

Springhealth has a grading system that will guide you through your training, giving you frequent opportunities to assess your level of improvement and learn new skills. It’s possible with commitment and a good training schedule to gain the much-coveted black belt within 5 years.
We also have a small stable of fighters that have developed under our system.
Of course, kickboxing can be learnt just for the adrenaline rush as well as the social aspect. Springhealth has a really friendly vibe, as students pair up during sessions – creating a group bond as they develop through the grades.
